Interested in curling and joining a curling club? Just joined the Waupaca Club and want more information on the club and curling? This page contains lots of information on the club, costs, competitions and more about the sport of curling itself. Of course, the best way is in person, so if you're a member or just interested, feel free to stop by any night the club is open and talk to some members!

Learn to Curl
Interested? Not sure yet? At the beginning of each season there are several nights of Learn to Curl, where you can learn the basics of the game and give it a try. Every year we have several new curlers who have never stepped on the ice before, so you won't be alone. Come down, try it out and meet new friends. Watch our website for updates on when the Learn to Curl nights will be scheduled.
Signing Up For League Nights
When you join the curling club, you have options to select which leagues you would like to curl in. Select which one(s) you want, and the league chair will make sure that you're on a team - teams are usually formed the first night of league play in November. Check out the Leagues page for more information on our leagues.
Several bonspiels (competitive and fun) are held each year at the Waupaca Curling Club, including one for rookies. A bonspiel is a curling tournament with a set number of teams that play each other over the course of a few days. Of course, there's food, drinks and entertainment as well! Club members can play in our bonspiels, as well as play in the many bonspiels offered by other clubs.
